Phineas Pope is a classically trained pianist and organist with both solo and ensemble experience. He is an independent music contractor for churches in the Twin Cities and Des Moines, and currently serves as the Musical Director and Organist for Capitol Hill Christian Church in Des Moines. Pope has won numerous awards for classical and jazz performance. Recently, he was nominated for the American Pianists Association Jazz Award in 2021. In addition to performance experience, Pope has worked in professional audio production for Iowa PBS and Iowa Public Radio. Member: AMP/TC-AGO
